κι η καρδιά μου χτυπάει δυνατά
από θλίψη μίσος και οργή
γι αυτή τη γαμημένη μηχανή
θέλω κεφάλια να δω στην σειρά
να στέκονται σε όρθια κοντάρια
παλάτια να παίρνουνε φωτιά
και να ματώνουν σαν Αυγούστου φεγγάρια

Χιλιάδες χάθηκαν στη φωτιά
που άναψε σε κάποια συνοικία
κατέστρεψε μια πόλη και μετά
ειπώθηκε πως ήταν τιμωρία
